Associate Brand Manager

The Marketing team is looking for an Associate Brand Manager! They are particularly interested in candidates with project management or brand management experience, demonstrated ability to influence, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Desired qualifications include candidates with a deep understanding of the beer & spirits industry.

The position is based in Holland, MI, and is expected to work on-site at our various locations through the week.

Job Summary

The Associate Brand Manager will be responsible for executing a marketing plan for specified New Holland brands while working within established marketing systems. This position will translate consumer and customer insights into actionable growth strategies for the business unit. The Associate Brand Manager will represent the brand in all forms of communication and plan, position, market, and execute New Holland products while working with cross-functional teams. The applicant must be proficient in project management, demonstrate the ability to influence, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. The applicant must be a subject matter expert in the field of brewing or distilling, or have the ambition and willingness to be trained as such.

What you would do

• Lead and act in a manner that is consistent with our Mission, Vision, and Values.

• Share the brand’s outward image and bring it to life.

• Lead communication and education coming from the brand both internally and externally. Be the subject matter expert.

• Partner with Digital Marketing Associate to guide digital media strategy for specified brands.

• Represent the brand at trade, sales, retail, and promotional events when needed.

• Guide brand positioning, brand identity, packaging, creative content, marketing, and sales assets, programming, and brand campaigns with leadership from the Marketing Director.

• Creatively engage with key leaders to earn endorsement, strengthen brand health, and earn consumer loyalty.

• Partner with the Assistant Brand Manager to uncover actionable consumer, categorical & and cultural trends.

• Deliver annual business objectives and targets. Ensure all targets & requirements are met & completed on schedule & within budget, under the direction of Marketing Director.

• Create and execute omnichannel marketing programs that deliver on brand goals and create a lift in engagement, sales, display, and/or loyalty.

• Execute pricing and promotional strategy for specified brands.

• Gather required data from end users to evaluate objectives, goals, KPIs and progress of project on a regular cadence.

• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift at least fifty pounds.

• Ability to work nights, weekends and be on call as needed.

• Stamina to work up to 10 hours per day.

Desired qualifications

• Experience in a prior marketing position with project management or brand management responsibilities.

• Deep understanding of the BevAlcohol (Beer & Spirits) industry.

Summary of a typical day

• Manage a subset of key marketing plans/variables.

• Setting targets for milestones & adhering to project deadlines.

• Analyze & create brand programming for specific NH brand.

• Educate & influence internal and external teams to deliver upon brand plans.

• Track & execute the development of new products.
